Testing Tiles

On this boring Saturday afternoon I decided to try out Tonypa's tile tutorials, since I've had a hankering to make a Mario-style game for a long time. I also used Array Painter for the maps.

I hope to add new functionalities (scrolling, NPCs [the blue dot]) at some point.
(Check out Tonypa's games, too. They rawk)

The Finger Game

(Don't ask)

This took me about 30 minutes, and I'll add some more functionalities and stuff later.

Rules:
At the start of the game, hold out one finger on each hand
You and your opponent takes turns
On your turn, hit your opponent's hand with your hand.
When your hand is hit, you add the number of fingers that are held out on the hand that hit you to the number of fingers in your hand now.
The object is to get both of your opponent's hands to exactly five.

Professor Teaches Typing

This is a redoing of a previous game I made (originally called Stinkoman Teaches Typing and used sprites from the Homestar Runner website). I changed the copyrighted character to a character of my own. Right now he's simply called the Professor.

The object is to type the letter that is above the robot's head when it gets near you. You'll know the robot's in range when a green dot appears on it.

Thanks to all the peeps at the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki for helping me out here.

Once again, feel free to post high scores as comments.

Eyeball Defender

This is what happens when a lot of sugar, midnight, and a mission all come together to make one big super-game.

Eyeballs. Shooting muffins.

Is there something wrong with me? . . . naaaaaah.

This is my first attempt at a switch game. Spacebar fires. There are five levels. Feel free to post high scores as comments.

This blog has been abandoned. My new website is located at PieguyArcade.com. The games located there are of a higher quality than the ones here. Thanks!
